Decent pancakes, eggs, pastries, cheese, and fruit to every taste. Marvellous location, in the heart of the city, a castle and a theatre minutes from the hotel.

There were Wi-Fi, an air conditioner, and a kettle in the room, appreciated that. The friendly efficient and genuinely helpful staff provided all the necessary info. Its location just next door to a national art gallery was magnificent.

All in all, it's romantic place that has dedicated staff at the reception desk. The rooms are recently refurbished and generous-sized with a wonderful view, so that guests have essentials.

We really enjoyed everything, it was a modern place to stay with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The hotel had a fantastic location right next to a combined museum.

Sophisticated atmosphere and well decorated and well-kept room. Perfect location close to a stones throw from the Castle, Edinburgh and the coffee shop where JK Rowling wrote the Harry Potter series, early check-in.

Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the weekend. This hotel was reasonable price when compared to other options. The restaurant was particularly good for breakfast, we ordered fine dishes.

The hotel is quaint and romantic with affable staff at the reception desk. Its location is great and brilliant, adjacent to Edinburgh Castle, the museum, and the Royal Mile shopping area and the Royal Mile in the Old Town.

Well-kept room and a coffeemaker, a heating system, and a kettle inside. Well managed staff at check in and concierge services, comfortable bed. Excellent and absolutely perfect location in center of it all on Royal Mile, in the really comfortable area. Plus, not too far from a Thistle chapel.

The breakfasts offered here are more than enough, with delicious cakes, fresh smoked salmon, and healthy choices, and the ambiance is really elegant.

The location was stunning, for example, Co-op Food was within walking distance of the hotel. Pubs and bars were right by the place. Enjoyed our rooms with a good view. The breakfast was included, that was a bonus.
